Haunted by his tragic past, Jack LeBlanc, a heavily-scarred introvert, volunteers for a Phase I clinical trial of a miraculous new tissue regeneration medication, dubbed “Obsidian.” Soon, under the watchful surveillance of respected pharmacologist, Dr. James Walsh, Jack and the group of hopeful volunteers start to experience hellish side effects from the drug and soon find that the quest for vanity can be deadly.
