A series of murders of women, each with their right forefinger posthumously severed, leads Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson to a society of hypnotists and a mysterious, glamorous woman. The case takes an intriguing turn when the fiendish Dr. Moriarty – last seen swinging from the hangman’s noose – appears to be involved.
